Lumini Author Pricing & Fees

Monetization Principles

Our monetization model is based on a single, transparent commission charged only after a successful sale.

Lumini has no registration fees, no product listing fees, no subscription costs, and no hidden charges.

Commission Structure

• Author’s Revenue: 85% of the final product sale price
  
  

• Lumini’s Commission: 15% of the final product sale price
  
  

This flat commission covers the platform’s operational and infrastructure costs.

What’s Included in Lumini’s 15% Commission

Lumini’s commission supports the operation and development of the platform and includes:

• Platform Marketing & Visibility
  Promotion of the Lumini platform and selected products through organic channels and partnerships.
  
  

• Payment Processing Infrastructure
  Secure payment acceptance and settlement through integrated payment service providers.
  
  

• Technical Infrastructure & Support
  Hosting, file storage, platform maintenance, and technical support for authors and buyers.
  
  

• Administrative & Moderation Costs
  Content moderation, author verification, platform operations, and community support.
  
  

Payout Process & Schedule

Payment Acceptance
All customer payments are processed through Lumini’s integrated payment service providers.

Payout Schedule & Clearing Period

Payouts are processed once every 14 days and include sales that have successfully completed the clearing period.

After each purchase, funds are subject to a standard clearing and settlement period required by payment processors. This period typically takes up to 7 days from the date of purchase.

Only funds that have fully cleared and are available in the author’s balance are eligible for payout.

At each 14-day payout cycle, Lumini reviews the author’s available balance and processes payouts for all cleared funds that meet the minimum payout threshold.

Example

• A sale made on October 1st will typically clear between October 5–8 and be included in the next available payout cycle after clearing.
  
  

• A sale made on October 10th will clear around October 15–17 and be included in the following payout cycle.
  
  

• Sales that have not fully cleared by the payout date will automatically roll over to the next payout cycle.
  
  

Minimum Payout Amount

The minimum payout amount is €20.00.

If an author’s available balance does not reach this threshold at the time of a payout cycle, the balance will automatically roll over until the minimum amount is met.

Third-Party Fees

All fees charged by payment service providers, including but not limited to payment processing fees, withdrawal fees, bank fees, and currency conversion fees, are fully borne by the author.

Lumini does not cover, reimburse, or offset any third-party payment fees.
Such fees may be deducted automatically by the payment service provider from the payout amount before funds are received by the author.
